The designated CEO of the new GGP AUSTRIA GmbH is Michael H. Buchbauer. The head office of the new company will be located in Vienna 23, Carlbergergasse 66.
GGP has become one of the largest suppliers of garden technology in Austria through the specialist trade brands Castelgarden and Stiga, the DIY brand Alpina, as well as the private-label business. Major innovations in the product groups of robotic mowers, lawnmowers, lawn tractors, front mowers, chain saws, hedge trimmers, brush cutters, blowers, snow throwers and shredders, as well as professional implement carriers, will further accelerate the company's growth.
ZIMMER Handelsgesellschaft mbH will continue its tradition as a wholesale and general import company with complementary products and own brands, in after-sales service and the spare parts segment, and will serve established customers in these areas.
