The innovative power of Stiga impressed the 37-member jury of experts, who assessed 4,662 products in 19 different categories in this year’s competition. Only the best designs were able to win the enthusiasm of the jury, which is how Stiga Villa 320/520 HST received the red dot for its successful design creation.
The recognition confirms top class design as well as user friendliness of the new Stiga Villa front mower.
The idea was to create a sporty vehicle which you proudly can park in your driveway, and easily maneuver around the tightest spots of the garden. Material and construction, comfort and convenience, road grip and performance – the thinking is the same as in a modern car.
Villa represents a new generation of compact front mowers, aimed at a design-conscious audience who relishes the pleasure of driving.
The Red Dot Design Award was founded in 1955 by Design Zentrum Nordrhein-Westfalen in Germany and is considered one of the design world’s most prestigious awards.
After the awards ceremony on July 1st 2013 the Stiga Villa 320/520 HST will be put on display during a four-week special exhibition in the red dot design museum.
